A Seattle Police officer responding to a burglary call in Queen Anne was injured in a collision. KIROTV reported that the officer attempted to go around a Honda by passing it on the left. The Honda turned left in front of the police car and the two cars collided. The officer was taken to nearby Harborview and the woman driving the Honda was released after questioning.
The report said that the police cruiser had lights flashing and sirens blaring. You would think that people would know by now that you are supposed to pull over to the right and stop when you see police lights and hear sirens behind you.
